Pabna, Oct 24 (UNB) – Two motorcyclists were killed and another injured as a bus rammed the motorbike on Pabna-Dhaka highway at Razapur Railgate in Sathia upazila on Tuesday night.

Chattogram, Oct 23 (UNB) - Two people were killed and another injured after a truck hit another one on Dhaka-Chottagram Highway in Barotakia area of Mirsarai upazila early Tuesday.

Chandpur, Oct 22 (UNB) – At least three people, including a man and his son, were killed as a covered van hit an auto-rickshaw on Chandpur-Cumilla road near Bakila Bazar in Hajiganj upazila early Monday.   The deceased were identified as LM Hossain, 45, his son Akram Hossain, 22, and Abu Sufian, residents of Kamta in Shahrasti upazila.   Joynal Abedin, sub-inspector of Hajiganj upazila, said the accident took place around 3:30am when the covered van hit the auto-rickshaw carrying them, leaving the three people dead on the spot and two others, including the auto-driver, critically injured.   The injured were admitted to General Hospital.    

  Feni, Oct 21 (UNB) – Four Bangladesh nationals including three members of a family were killed as a fire broke out at a shop in Brits City area of North West province in South Africa early Saturday.   The deceased were identified as two siblings--Anwar Hossain and Mosharaf Hossain--of Char Majlispur in Sonagazi upazila, their maternal uncle Mominul Haque of Jagatpur village in Daganbhuiyan upazila and Mohammad Ibrahim of Jamalpur district.   Among them, three were workers of the shop and another came to visit them.
