Rather it is something that will get the job done as a daily driver.  The Camera  The camera has seen a slight improvement from the R9 to the R10. Not that it makes much of a difference anyways.  Most of the camera work is done by the 13 MP main sensor. Pictures in day time come out pretty good. There are a good amount of details in each picture, and there seem to be no exposure or dynamic range issues.  But like all other generic 13 MP cameras, things start to fall apart indoors or artificial lights. There seems to be a slight improvement in the exposure compared to what we saw on the R9, but that’s about it. The videography is still 1080P at 30 fps. The videos look shaky and choppy, as usual, due to the absence of any kind of internal or external stabilization.  There aren’t any other notable changes.  On the front, users will be getting an 8 MP shooter, just like the R9. It has an octa-core base with a max chip output of 1.8 GHz. The processor is coupled with a Mali-G52 GPU set. It is a game changer, considering how smooth the OS and general usage feels. It makes for a pleasing experience scrolling through stuff and provides a snappier feel.  The color metrics of the display are also satisfactory. The colors looked sharp with a hint of a warm tone. There is no visible color shift at angles. The Camera  Symphony also made some notable changes in the camera department. From the outside, the device comes with three sensors on the back. But the main 52 MP sensor does all the work. It's obvious that the accompanying sensors are there just for marketing, as Symphony didn’t provide detailed specs on them. But the Samsung sensor-built main rear camera is no slouch. In our test, it was able to take pretty accurate and color-correct shots on outdoors. The sensor can pick up high details and preserve the dynamic range. The only gripe with the outdoor shots is that the contrast could’ve been a bit better, as sometimes pictures look soft, even in well-lit environments.  The camera faces similar issues in the darker environment as well. It’s good enough for the occasional casual selfies. The videography is limited to 1080P at 30 fps. The choice of Unisoc is completely understandable as they have become the go-to option for ultra-budget smartphones.  The processor is a 12nm one based on a cortex-A75 chip. Users will also be getting 650 MHz speed GPU along with the processor.  So how does it perform overall? While the processing power isn’t exactly promising, it does fairly well in day-to-day use. Key Specifications of realme C33  Design and Build Quality The dimensions of realme C33 are 164.2 by 75.7 by 8.3mm. It weighs about 187g. The realme C33 shines the most in this section. realme has always been big on design elements and even their ultra-budget offering doesn’t miss out here. Even though the C33 has a plastic build all around, it boasts refinements in every department. The back itself is s mixture of glittering glossy reflective finish. It’s sure to grab anyone’s attention. The fingerprint sensor also stays on the power button and the sim tray makes way for a micro SDXC slot along with two dedicated sim slots. But the most glaring letdown here is the micro-USB charging. This might hamper the call quality a bit but that’s understandable given the price constraints. Overall, other than the micro-USB everything felt right on par with the price for the C33. The Display The budget smartphone market almost universally uses 720P IPS LCD panels on their devices and the C33 is no different. The smartphone features the same in a 6.5-inch screen with a bit over 82% screen-to-body ratio and a standard 270 PPI density. While that doesn’t really say much about the quality, it still holds decent numbers for its price. In testing, the device was accurate with the colors and overall sharpness. Viewing angles are also good without any noticeable color shifting. It feels like realme did a better job at calibrating the panel compared to several of its counterparts in this specific segment. The display looks sufficiently good indoors but you will notice glares and readability issues under direct sunlight. So, will this display be perfect for media consumption? Not really. But it will get the job done as a daily driver. The Camera In its initial days, budget and mid-range devices were focused on the number of sensors rather than the actual quality of images. C33 has a dual-lens camera setup with a 50 MP wide-angle primary shooter and the accompanying one is a 0.3MP depth sensor. This simple setup not only helped the device to maintain a clean look but also allowed realme to focus on what matters the most, the quality of images. The result is satisfactory. The main sensor does an excellent job in outdoor conditions. the color contrast and dynamic range are well-exposed and well-balanced. The pictures appear to be on the warmer side in a typical realme fashion. But that doesn’t take away from the fact it produces some of the best images in the mid-range category. The performance slightly drops in indoor and artificial lighting conditions. Though that’s an expected phenomenon at this point. Processor and Performance One of the biggest cut corners in a budget to lower mid-range devices is the processor. Unfortunately, the story is the same with realme C33. But that is understandable given the price it comes at. While the bezels and chin might feel a bit thick by 2022 standards, it is what you get for what you pay. All the other ports and buttons stay in their usual place on the Y50. But for its price, it’s a perfectly functional design with daily usage in mind. Display Walton Orbit Y50 sports a 17.3cm or 6.82-inch IPS V-Drop Display that features a 20:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D Glass construction.  The display of the Orbit Y50 is an HD+ IPS IN-CELL display. Walton did a better tuning with their display this time around as it looks much more vivid and sharp compared to other similar devices. However, the viewing angles aren’t all that great. There are noticeable color shifts along with flickering if you view the display from the sides. The brightness levels are also average and even though the display is fully laminated, you would still see a strong glare under direct sunlight. It’s clear that the Y50 won’t be the perfect media consumption device. But for day-to-day use, it will get the job done regardless. Coming to picture quality, the pictures look sharp and detailed in outdoors and well-lit environments. The portrait mode also works well to detect the edges and properly expose the subject. Even though Walton claims that the main sensor has a larger aperture, it still fails to properly expose subjects every now and then. This leads to underexposed and grainy shots at night.  The story is similar to the front 8 MP camera as well. It produces passable results but nothing out of the ordinary. The videography of the Y50 is limited to 1080P at 30 fps. But without any internal and external stabilization features, the video ends up looking shaky and out of focus at times. At its core, it has an octa-core chip design with 6 mid-range and 2 high-performing cores. The CPU is complemented by PowerVR Rogue GE8300 GPU. The processor performs just as it does on paper. It’s a through-and-through entry-level processor designed for basic day-to-day tasks like social media browsing or YouTube. But does that mean you can't game on it? Fortunately, you can. Even graphics-intensive titles like Asphalt 9 and PUBG run well without a hiccup on low graphics settings. If you go for more than that, the device will heat up really fast and thermal throttling will kick in.
