Shamsul Alam Belal, former city editor of state-run news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), passed away early Monday. He was 60. Shamsul Alam, a member of the Jatiya Press Club(JPC), breathed his last at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in Dhaka at 2 am.
