Jobs in Bangladesh Air Force: The application time for the recruitment post of Officer Cadet in the 86th BAFA course of the Air Force has increased
The deadline to apply for the 86th BAFA course in the Air Force has been extended from 27 February to 10 April 2022. This information has been given through text message on the mobile phone and website of the Air Force. Candidate must be unmarried to apply. Must be between 16 years 6 months and 22 years old on July 6, 2022.
Bangladesh Air Force Jobs Circular: Qualifications
The height of male candidates should be at least 64 inches, chest size at least 32 inches, extension 2 inches, height of female candidates 64 inches for GD (P) branch, 62 inches for other branches, chest size at least 28 inches, extension 2 inches. The weight of both the candidates should be according to age and height.
Manpower will be taken in 4 branches of 86 BAFA course as Bangladesh Air Force Officer Cadet. The branches are GD (P), Logistics / ATC / ADWC / Meteorological, Finance and Admin.
As per the rules for GD (P) branch candidates, sight is 6/6 and for other branch candidates. GDA (P) and GPA-4.50 in both Secondary and Higher Secondary (Science) examinations for Logistics / ATC / ADWC / Meteorological and minimum letter grade A in Physics and Mathematics. Letter Grade B in at least five subjects including Mathematics and Mathematics at O level and at least Letter Grade B in Mathematics and Mathematics at A level.
GPA-4.50 in both Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations for Finance and minimum letter grade in Mathematics / Accounting. At Level Grade B in at least five subjects including Mathematics / Accounting and Letter Grade B in at least two subjects including Mathematics / Accounting. GPA-4.50 in any branch in both exams for admin branch. Level Grade B in at least five subjects at O level and letter Grade B in two subjects at A level.

Bangladesh Air Force: How to Apply
To apply online, you need to enter the Air Force website and click on the 'Apply Now' option. Link: https://www.joinbangladeshairforce.mil.bd/.
You have to register as per the instructions there. You have to send 1000 rupees for registration fee. After getting the user ID and password, you have to login and fill the online application form and print it. On the due date of the preliminary written test, 12 recent passport size photographs, certificate of educational qualification, attested photocopy of other certificate along with information of Air Force and Election Center should be submitted.

Air Force Jobs: Necessary documents
Candidates have to appear in the examination center along with the certificate mentioned in the notification during the examination to fill the application form properly. Attested photocopies of all temporary certificates, testimonials and number sheets of educational qualifications should be brought along with the test center.
Citizenship, Character Certificate, Marital Status and Permanent Address Certificate must be submitted. In addition, a certificate of character, birth registration or attested photocopy of national identity card should be brought by the head of the current or latest educational institution.

Bangladesh Air Force Jobs: Selection method
Candidates have to take part in the test in a few steps. Preliminary written test will be taken first, which will include IQ, English, Mathematics and Physics. IQ, English and general knowledge only for admin branch candidates.
You will then need to participate in the Preliminary Medical Examination, the Preliminary Oral Examination and the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB), the Final Health Examination by the Central Medical Council (CMB) and the Final Selection Examination by the Final Selection Board (CFSB).
Carrying electronic devices and bags in the test center is strictly prohibited.

Bangladesh Air Force: Training and commissioning
Regular commission will be paid for the post of Flying Officer after 10 years training at Bangladesh Military Academy and three years training at Bangladesh Air Force Academy. A total of four-year bachelor's degree will be awarded, including one year after commissioning.
