A mobile court led by Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) during an eviction drive removed 150 stalls of a fair set up at the Paris Road in Mirpur-11 of the capital on Tuesday.
The mobile court led by DNCC Regional Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Ziaur Rahman and property officer Farzana Khanam conducted the drive in the afternoon and evicted 150 stalls in the fair.

It also demolished the amusement rides in the fair during the eviction drive.
When speaking, Ziaur Rahman said, “We received information that a fair was being held illegally at the Paris Road without any official permission. As there was no valid authorisation, all stalls and rides have been removed and the field has been cleared. There is no scope for holding fairs or occupying grounds and parks within DNCC jurisdiction without prior permission. Our drives in this regard will continue.”
