“I tried to contact the proctor over phone for at least 10 times after the attack but he responded only thrice and rebuked me instead of taking any measures to save us,” Rashed said.
He also alleged that the proctor did it intentionally to pave the way for the attack and the CCTV footage of the attack also went missing under his patron.
The BGSRPC leader further alleged that DU unit BCL President Sanjit Chandra Das and General Secretary Md Saddam Hussein led the attack.
He claimed that the condition of two leaders of their organisation -- Tuhin Farabi and APM Suhel -- deteriorated further and Farabi has subsequently been taken to the intensive care unit (ICU) again.
Rahsed said nine of their fellows are now undergoing treatment at the DMCH.
BGSRPC leaders Bin Yamin Mollah, Mahfuzur Rahman and Mashiur Rahman also spoke on the occasion.
On December 22, leaders and activists of BCL and Muktijuddha Mancha reportedly attacked Nur and his followers at the Ducsu office, leaving at least 28 people injured.
The attackers also threw Farabi and Suhel from the rooftop of the Ducsu Building.
