“Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind over parts of the country is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh division with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said a met office release.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Rain/thunder showers may increase in next five days, said the release.
Besides, monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded by 35.1 degree Celsius in Srimangal while the lowest one today was recorded by 24.0 degree Celsius at Nikli in Kishorganj district.
Highest rainfall for the last 24-hour till 6pm today was recorded by 67 millimeters(mm) in Sayedpur.
The sun sets at 6.47pm and rises at 5.11 am on Monday in the capital, the release added.
