A 95-year-old woman, her daughter, and two granddaughters were killed after a passenger bus collided with their auto-rickshaw in Gouripur upazila on Sunday morning.
The victims were identified as Kulsuma Begum, 95, wife of Obaidur Rahman, from Durbachar village in Bhangnamari union, her daughter Dilruba, 40, wife of Manik Mia; and her granddaughters Riti, 14 and Priti, 7.

The accident occurred around 6:30 am on the Mymensingh-Kishoreganj highway near the Chandrapara area of Gouripur Upazila.
Mirza Mazaharul Anwar, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gouripur Police Station, said that a Kishoreganj-bound bus from Mymensingh collided with a Gouripur-bound autorickshaw, resulting in the death of three passengers on the spot and leaving three others injured.

Locals rescued the injured and took them to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, where doctors on duty declared another one dead upon arrival
The injured, Shyamoli, 20, wife of Nazrul Islam from Bhangnamari, and another granddaughter of Kulsuma Begum, Mahi, are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
