The Walton-Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) six-a-side Media Football Tournament advanced to round 16 after 12 matches were decided on the third day at the Shaheed (Capt) M Monsur Ali National Handball Stadium in Dhaka on Saturday.
Sixteen media teams that will play in the pre-quarterfinal matches on Sunday are:
ATN News vs My TV (9.00 am); Ekattor TV vs Amader Shomoy (9:30 am); Inqilab vs Dhaka Post (10:00 am); Banglavision vs Bhorer Kagoj (10:30 am); Channel i vs Jugantor (11:00 am); Jamuna Television (11:30 am); ATN Bangla vs Bangladesh Pratidin (12 noon); and Deepto TV vs Jagonews (12:30 pm).

In the day's matches, Ekattor TV beat The Daily Star by 1-0 goal scored by Habib; My TV defeated Sara Bangla by 3-2 goals in tie- tiebreaker; Bhorer Kagoj overcame Ekhon TV by 4-3 goals also in tie tiebreaker; Banglavision outplayed Bhorer Akash by 3-0 goals; Jugantor beat BD News by 2-0 goals; Channel i beat Kalbela by 2-0 goals NTV beat Janakantha by 1-0 goal; Jamuna TV defeated Business Standard by 2-1 goals; Deepto TV crushed Rising DB by 4-0 goals; ATN Bangla outplayed Khabor Sangjog by 3-0 goals; Bangladesh Pratidin defeated News 24 by 2-0 goals; and Dhaka Post beat UNB by 2-1 goals in a tiebreaker.

UNB Editor Farid Hossain, DRU President Morsalin Nomani, General Secretary Moinul Hasan Sohel, organising secretary Saiful Islam, and sports secretary Mahbubur Rahman, among others, witnessed the day's matches.
