All police personnel will be trained on the basis of their ranks by next year in order to boost their skills, the country’s police chief said on Sunday.
Inspector General of Police Dr Benazir Ahmed said this while inaugurating a 'rank-based' training program for all members of the police at the Hall of Integrity at the Police Headquarters on Sunday.
He said the training programme has been undertaken at the instruction of the prime minister.
Following the PM’s order training has been organized at least once a year for every police member from constable to additional IG of Bangladesh Police. This will further enhance the skills of police personnel in various fields, the IGP said.
