He informed this at a Zoom meeting with 64 college principals of 64 districts.
“To ensure cent percent educational activities during this Covid-19 pandemic, the work of bringing all colleges under one device is going on,” the NU VC said.
A letter was sent to the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to take steps in this regard, he informed.
The NU VC also said that the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Education Ministry have been working to introduce the Learning Management System (LMS).
“We want to introduce an easy system so that students can purchase data and get connected with online education activities,” he added.
Earlier on Sunday, the NU VC directed colleges under National University to continue online education activities.
NU Pro VC Dr Mashiur Rahman, Dean of Master's Education, Training and Research Centre Dr Md Anwar Hossain, and NU Registrar and Dean Dr Md Nasir Uddin among others attended the meeting.
Earlier on June 15, the government extended the closure of all the educational institutions until August 6 considering the worsening coronavirus situation.
On March 16, all educational institutions were shut to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
