The bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman passed the order after hearing a writ petition.
The court asked the authorities concerned to submit the report within two months.
A rule was also issued seeking explanation as to why the authorities’ inaction in implementing the 25-point recommendation of the ACC in dealing with the health sector graft should not be declared illegal.
The authorities, including the ACC Chairman and the Health Secretary, were asked to respond to the rule within four weeks.
Supreme Court Lawyer Ishrat Hasan and Aminur Rahman filed the writ petition on September 27.
The ACC submitted the 25-point recommendation on January 31, 2019 after detecting grafts in 11 areas of the country’s health services like procurement, appointment, promotion, transfer, providing treatment and medicine distribution.
