The UGC organised the two-day workshop on ‘Annual Performance Agreement Management System’ to bring transparency and dynamism in the activities of universities.
Prof Mannan said the objective of the workshop is to make all concerned aware about the Annual Performance Agreement and ensure good governance and excellence in performance of tertiary-level institutions.
“We want to build result-oriented educational institutions in Bangladesh,” he added.
UGC member Prof M Shah Nowaz Ali presided over the function, while UGC members Prof Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah, Dr Dil Afroza Begum and Dr Md Akhtar Hossain, additional education secretary Md Belayet Hossain Talukder and UGC secretary Dr Md Khaled spoke on the occasion.
Registrars of 40 public universities, who are focal points of the Annual Performance Agreement, are participating in the workshop, said a press release.
