Dhaka, Sep 20 (UNB) - Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman started his mission in the purse of approximate US$ 1,355,000 Asia-Pacific Open Golf Championship Diamond Cup with carding one-over-par 72 in the first round at Musashi Country Club Sasai Course in Japan on Thursday.
The two-time Asian Tour winner Siddikur took a nine-shot more than the leader Daijiro Izumida [Japan], who took two shots lead above his two compatriots Yuki Inamori and Hiroshi Iwata and a Thai golfer Danthai Boonma.
Siddikur shared his place with 12 other golfers, which is appears to be difficult to make the cut in the tournament for him.
