Dhaka, Mar 2 (UNB) – Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) won the girls’ team title of the 21st National Junior Gymnastics Championship on Saturday.
They secured 115.60 points on the third day of the meet at the National Sports Council Gymnasium in Dhaka. Quantum Foundation finished runners-up with 79.30 points.
Miftahul Jannat Yeama of BKSP emerged as the best junior gymnast of the meet securing 32.10 points while Yeasin Haque Risha of the same team became runners-up with 30.60 points.
The 36th National Senior, 21st National Junior and 4th Age Group National Gymnastics Championships will conclude on Sunday at the same venue.
Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Mohammad Omar Faruk will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony and will distribute the prizes. President of the Bangladesh Gymnastics Federation Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Mamun will also attend the programme.
