Dhaka, Feb 4 (UNB) - BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir went to Singapore for medical treatment on Monday.
Fakhrul along with his wife Rahat Ara Begum left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Singapore in a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines around 6pm, BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB.
He said Fakhrul will receive treatment at the National University Hospital in Singapore for various health complexities, including blockage in the nerve of his neck.
Sayrul, however, could not say when the BNP secretary general will return home.
