Chapainawabganj, Jan 22 (UNB) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested a suspected militant from a militant den at Shibnarayanpur village in Kansat union of Shibganj upazila.
The arrestee is Monirul Islam.
Lt Col Mahbubul Alam, commanding officer of Rab-5, at a press briefing said that on information that 2/3 accused of Gulshan Holey Artisan attack case were staying at the village, they cordoned off 15-20 houses from 3:30am.
They arrested one Monirul from a house and ended the drive around 8am .
