The French Embassy in Dhaka has extended condolences to the families of victims of cyclone ‘Bulbul’ which battered the country’s coastal districts early Sunday.
It also expressed sympathies to those who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods in this natural calamity, the Embassy said on Monday.
"I am shocked and saddened at the loss of life and devastation of property in the coastal region of Bangladesh as a result of cyclone Bulbul. I also offer my profound sympathy to the effected coastal people," Ambassador Jean-Marin SCHUH said in a message.
Six people were killed in Bagerhat, Khulna, Patuakhali and Barishal districts when cyclone ‘Bulbul’ battered Khulna and adjoining southwestern part of the country.
