Three people were killed and 15 others injured in separate road accidents in Sirajganj's Kamarkhanda and Ullahpara upazilas on Sunday.
In Kamarkhanda, a 40-year-old school teacher was killed after being hit by a speeding bus of Rizvi Paribahan near Simanto Bazar area on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Shamsul Alam, son of late Matiar Rahman of Balorampur village of the upazila. He was a teacher at a local school.

The accident occurred around 3:30pm when the bus hit Shamsul Alam, leaving him dead on the spot, said Roshan Yazdani, officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bangabandhu Bridge West Police Station..
In another accident, two cattle traders were killed and 15 others suffered injuries in a head-on collision between a bus and a cattle-laden three-wheeler in the Hatikumrul area of Ullahpara on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Thandu Bepari, 35, of Chaikhola village of Chatmohar upazila of Pabna district, and Abdus Samad, 40, of the same area.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hatikumrul Highway Police Station, Badrul Kabir said the Dhaka-bound National Travels bus collided head-on with the three-wheeler coming from the opposite direction on Sunday around 4:30 pm, leaving the duo dead on the spot and 15 injured.
Of the injured, nine were undergoing treatment at various clinics and hospitals in Sirajganj and Bogura.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
A case has been filed in the concerned police station in this regard, added the OC.
