Abdur Rahman Jahangir is a well-known senior journalist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As a prolific writer, he writes news articles on different issues, including politics, environment, health, civic problems and human rights. He received awards from various organizations for his articles and social services. Completing his graduation in journalism and mass communication from the University of Dhaka, he started working for United News of Bangladesh (UNB), the largest news agency in Bangladesh, as a reporter in September, 2004.
