A Natore court on Thursday convicted two people and sentenced them to life imprisonment for killing a young man over previous enmity in 2014.
Natore Additional District and Session Judge Md Delwar Hossain handed down the punishment.
The lifers are—Masud Rana and Mizanur Rahman. The court also fined them Tk 10 lakh each, in default, to suffer, three years more in rigorous imprisonment.
According to the prosecution, the convicts killed Abdul Kahar, son of Abdur Rashid of Borogram in Singra upazila over previous enmity.
A case was filed with Singra Police Station. Later, police submitted the chargesheet against them.
