Cox’s Bazar, Sept 15 (UNB) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two suspected drug traders along with 16,000 Yaba tablets from Jaliapara area in Teknaf upazila on Friday night.
The arrestees are Md Hashem, 38, son of Abdul Kader and Md Kamal Hossain, 40, son of Altaj Miah, residents of the area.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-7 raided the house of Hashem around 9 pm and arrested the duo along with Yaba tablets worth Tk 80 lakh, said a Rab press release.
