Two people were injured in a crude bomb blast in Dhaka’s Bijoynagar on Wednesday afternoon
The injured were identified as AK Azad (64), manager of Balaka Press and Book Binding and Tahir Bhuiyan Mukut (28), a member of The Metropolitan South Swechchhasebak League.
The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 4:30pm for treatment.
Azad's colleague Abdullah Al Mamun said Azad was going to Kakrail office from Motijheel by rickshaw. At that time, at the intersection of the Culvert Road at Bijoyanagar, miscreants exploded a crude bomb leaving him injured.

Earlier on Tuesday night, two employees of a cloth showroom were injured in a crude bomb blast in Dhaka’s Shantinagar.
