A college teacher and a night guard suffering from fever and cold related issues died at Tala and Ashashuni upazilas on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as college teacher Rezaul Karim, son of late Fazar Ali Gazi, a resident of Kakbashia village in Ashashuni upazila and night guard Abdur Rahim, son of late Omar Ali, a resident of Patkelghata Paschim Para in Tala upazila.
Civil Surgeon Hussain Shawkat said they were suffering from fever and cold related issues and died in the morning.
Their samples have been collected, he added.
Ashashuni Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mir Alif Reza said the house of the college teacher has been put under lockdown.
