The deadline for registering to sit the admission test into first year (honours) of the university in 2019-2020 academic calendar ended at 12 midnight on September 30. About 27 examinees are competing for each seat, said a release of the university’s registrar office and ICT cell on Wednesday.
A total of 14,623 applications have been submitted in A unit; 12,533 in B unit; 4,399 in C unit and 1081 applications submitted in D unit. Besides, two foreigner students would have the scope for admission in each of the 29 disciplines.
The admission tests for the various schools and departments will be held on November 2. They will take place back-to-back, On that day, the admission test of management and business school will be held from 8am to 9-30 am under ‘C’ unit.
The admission test of ‘A’ unit under the Science, Engineering and Technology school and Biology school will be held from 10-30 am to 12 noon. Admission test under Science, Engineering and Technology school and biology school will be held from 10-30 am to 12 noon.
Admission test under the arts and humanity school, science school, law school and education school under ‘B’ unit will be held from 1-30 pm to 3 pm. Admission test for fine arts under ‘D’ unit, will be held from 4 pm to 5-30 pm.
