Twenty-nine Indian sailors, who got stranded in Bangladesh due to coronavirus situation, returned home by a special flight of NOVOAIR.
The NOVOAIR special flight with Indian sailors departed Dhaka around 2:30 pm(local time) and arrived in Kolkata at 2:52 pm(Local time) on Tuesday, said a press release.
Due to Coronavirus situation, flights between India and Bangladesh have been suspended since March 15.
NOVOAIR currently operates four flights daily from Dhaka to Chattogram, three flights to Cox's Bazar, four flights to Jashore, four flights to Saidpur, two flights to Sylhet, two flights to Barishal and two flights to Rajshahi in compliance with the health guidelines issued by the government.
