Three separate cases have been filed against around 2900 people over the recent attacks, vandalism, and looting at Bata, Domino’s Pizza, and KFC outlets in Khulna.
The managers of the outlets that came under attacl filed the cases at Sonadanga Police Station on Tuesday night, said Sub-Inspector Abu Hasan, the duty officer at the police station.
According to police, Touhidul Islam, manager of the Bata showroom at Shibbari intersection, filed a case accusing around 1,200–1,300 unidentified people.

Sujan Mondal, manager of KFC, lodged another case naming 700–800 unknown people while Shamsul Alam filed a case on behalf of Domino’s Pizza accusing 700–800 unnamed people involvement in the vandalism there.
The attacks were carried out on Monday evening (April 7) during a protest rally expressing solidarity with Palestinians and condemning the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Demonstrators targeted KFC and Domino’s outlets on KDA Avenue in the city as well as Bata showroom located beside the Tiger Garden Hotel near Shibbari.
Police have so far arrested 31 people in connection with the incidents.
