Those remanded are Shamim Billah, 21, son of Aminur Rahman Bablu and a second-year student of electrical and electronic engineering department of Buet and Moaz Abu Hurayra, 20, son of Mashrur-uz-Zaman of in Kishoreganj and a student of the same department.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court Judge Md Mamunur Rashid passed the order after Investigation Officer of the case Md Wahiduzzaman sought 10-day remand for each.
Shamim was arrested from Isapur village of Shyamnagar upazila in Satkhira on Friday while Moazand from Uttara sector 14 in the capital on Saturday.
AbrarFahad, 21, a second year student of electrical and electronic engineering department, was beaten to death on October 7 allegedly by Chhatra League activists at Buet’s Sher-e-Bangla Hall.
Abrar’s father Barkatullah filed the case with Chawkbazar Police Station accusing 19 people.
The case was transferred to DB on October 8.
