A day before that, police arrested them after examining surveillance camera footage and statements of witnesses.
On October 10, Efti Mosharraf Sakal, expelled deputy social welfare secretary of BCL’s Buet unit also confessed his involvement to the killing before a court.
Abrar, 21, a second-year EEE student, was beaten to death reportedly by BCL leaders at Sher-e-Bangla Hall of the university.
He was found dead on the staircase of the dormitory early Monday.
