The Resident Representative of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), Munir M. Merali, called on Foreign Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain at his office on Sunday.
During the meeting, Merali briefed the Foreign Adviser on AKDN’s ongoing initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education in Bangladesh.
The adviser expressed his appreciation for AKDN's efforts and suggested that the organization make its educational programs more inclusive.

He also encouraged the addition of more scholarship opportunities to help broaden access to quality education.
Merali also highlighted Bangladesh's leadership on climate change and its efforts to address global climate issues. He reiterated AKDN’s interest in collaborating with the Government of Bangladesh on climate change initiatives to support the country’s climate resilience and sustainability goals.
