Dhaka, Dec 8 (UNB) – Dhaka University Vice-chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman on Saturday said all the institutions and establishments of the university will be made friendlier to people with disabilities.
“Dhaka University will be such a place where there will always be a friendly atmosphere for people with disabilities,” he said.
The DU vice-chancellor was addressing a programme on the rights and accessibility of people with disabilities at the Prof Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium, said a DU press release.
He said all necessary steps will be taken very soon to make all the establishments of the university friendlier to people with disabilities.
Physically-challenged Development Foundation organised the programme.
