The minister was talking to reporters after offering prayers and paying tributes to the four national leaders on the occasion of Jail Killing Day at the Old Central Jail in the capital on Sunday.
Assaduzzaman said they (killers who fled home) are not under the law of the country, and all the countries where they reside should repatriate them as per their respective laws.
"We’re continuing our efforts…we're negotiating. Not only the accused of jail killing case, but the murderers of Bangabandhu also fled to different countries. Even, those involved in the August 21 grenade attack have also fled to different countries. We’re also trying to identify them all. We’re hopeful of bringing them back."
