A newborn girl, who was stolen from the Natore Sadar Hospital yesterday, was rescued from Kushtia early today.
A woman was arrested in connection with the abduction.

Police will bring the baby back to Natore by 12 pm today, said Natore sadar police station sources. Police will brief the media about the incident at 12 pm as well.
The baby was taken away from her mother's room in the hospital by a woman disguised as a staff member yesterday.

Hasna Hena, wife of bank officer Mahfuzur Rahman and a resident of Mohishdanga village of Noldanga upazila, gave birth to the baby girl on Thursday.
The woman who abducted the baby apparently told the mother and her attendees that she was taking the baby for a check-up.
