Home Minister Ashaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Tuesday said Bangladesh is a role model in eradicating militancy from the country as it has achieved remarkable success in its fight against militancy.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced zero tolerance policy against militancy and asked the law enforcement agencies to prevent it and they have done it successfully,” he said.
He made this remarks at the National Conference on Preventing Violent Extremism in Bangladesh at International Convention City at Bashundhara in the capital.
The Minister urged all to work unitedly against militancy and extremism.
