Leaders of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) on Monday separately met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meetings were held at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Secretariat in the afternoon, said his Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon.
He said the delegations from the central committees of BGMEA and BKMEA met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman separately.
“They raised various issues related to their sectors. The Prime Minister listened to their statements with keen interest and also exchanged views with them,” Rumon added.
