A motorcyclist was killed as a speeding truck hit him on Thakurgaon-Panchagarh highway at Salandar on Sunday.
The victim was identified as Abdur Razzak Sabuj, 40, son of late Shahajadar Rahman of East Goalpara in Thakurgaon district town.

Redwan Hossain, an assistant officer at Thakurgaon Fire Service and Civil Defence, said Sabuj died on the spot when the truck crushed him as he slipped from his bike.
