BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi will be brought to book soon, Additional Police Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and chief of Detective Branch (DB) of Police Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid said on Sunday.
“Police are conducting a drive to hunt down Rizvi and he will be brought to book soon,” said the DB chief while talking to reporters at Mintu Road DB office.
“Rizvi has been announcing the programmes of BNP and how a sick person like him can declare programmes in a bid to foil the upcoming election. If he is really sick, then he can appear before the court,” he added.
