Police have recovered the body of an unidentified youth from the banks of the Brahmaputra River near Zainul Abedin Park in Mymensingh city.
Locals spotted the body on Friday morning and informed the police. The deceased’s hands and feet were tied with a muffler.

Kotwali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Main Uddin confirmed the matter.
Locals saw the body wrapped in a sheet on the banks of the Brahmaputra River near Zainul Abedin Park in the city and informed the police. Police later arrived at the scene and recovered the body, he said.

Police suspect that the youth was killed elsewhere on Thursday, and his body was dumped there. The police, PBI, and CID visited the scene and collected evidence.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been established. Efforts are underway to identify him, the OC said.
