At least seven people were dead and three were injured in a collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Hathazari upazila of Chattogram this morning.
The identities of the victims could not be known immediately, said Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Hathazari Police Station.

The accident occurred around 12 pm in the Charia Board School area of Hathazari.
Witnesses said that seven people died on the spot when the Chattogram-bound bus collided with a Fatikchhari-bound auto-rickshaw on Hathazari-Fatikchhari regional highway.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies, said the OC.
The injured were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, he added.
