Two food warehouse officials were killed in a head-on collision between a microbus and a motorcycle at Kulpala Purbapara in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga on Sunday evening.
The deceased were identified as Nazrul Islam, 58, son of Yunus Ali Sheikh, resident of bus-stand para of Meherpur Sadar Municipality area and Saidur Rahman, 35, son of Ansar Ali of Govipur Buripota village in Meherpur Sadar upazila.

Nazrul Islam was food inspector of Chuadanga food warehouse and Saidur Rahman was deputy food inspector of Chuadanga food warehouse.
Locals said a microbus coming from Meherpur was going to Chuadanga. At that time, one of the wheels of the speeding microbus was punctured and it lost control and hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, leaving two motorcycle riders dead on the spot.

Alamdanga Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Biplob Kumar Nath said police reached the spot and recovered the bodies of the deceased.
"An autopsy report of the bodies has been prepared. The legal aspect is under process," he added.
