A 17-member committee has been formed over reevaluation of press accreditation policy 2022.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued a notification regarding the formation of the committee on Thursday.

The committee will be chaired by Md Sarwar Alam, press secretary to the President, with Mohammad Kamruzzaman Bhuiyan, deputy chief information officer of the Department of Information, serving as the member secretary, and Md Ataur Rahman Khan NDC, additional secretary of the Public Security Division, as convener.

The committee will reevaluate the Press Accreditation Policy-2022, propose necessary additions, amendments, and refinements, and submit its report to the Secretary of the Ministry, the notification added.

The committe will submit the report to the Information and Broadcasting secretary by February 10.
