A construction worker died after falling from the roof of an under-construction house in Kamrangirchar of Dhaka on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Ali Hossain, 50, a resident of Nurbag area.
The tragic incident happened around 2:30pm in Nurbag Puraton Fari Goli area.
He was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in serious condition, but doctors declared him dead around 3:30pm.
Ali Hossain’s son Md. Sakib said, “My father was a construction worker. While working on the second-floor roof of a building, he accidentally fell.”

Inspector Md. Faruk, in charge of the Dhaka Medical Hospital police camp, said that the body was kept in the hospital morgue.
He added that the local police station was informed about the incident.
