So far, the district has recorded 1,096 confirmed Covid-19 cases.
District Civil Surgeon office sources said the deputy assistant medical officer of Chouddagram upazila health complex, Chouddagram municipality counsillor and a driver of an ambulance were among those diagnosed with Covid-19.

Of the newly infected patients, 14 people are from Cumilla city, 16 from Chouddagram upazila, 14 from Debidwar upazila, seven from Laksham upazila, four from Barura upazila, one from Adarsha Sadar upazila, nine each from Burichang upazila and Brahmanpara upazila and two from Muradnagar upazila.
So far, 30 people have died from coroanvirus in the district till Tuesday while 157 people have recovered.
The country on Tuesday has reported 2,911 new confirmed coronavirus cases, highest single-day cases. So far, Bangladesh has recorded 52,445 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
During the same period, 37 more patients died, raising the death toll to 709.
