A symposium titled “Values or Their Absence in Foreign Policy” will be held at Six Seasons Hotel in the city on Saturday.
Krishnan Srinivasan, a former Indian Foreign Secretary, scholar, author and Deputy Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations, will deliver the keynote address on the topic.
Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, Principal Research Fellow, Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore, will chair and conduct the symposium. Cosmos Foundation Chairman Enayetullah Khan will deliver welcome remarks.
Cosmos Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Cosmos Group, will organise the symposium as part of Cosmos Dialogue’s Distinguished Speaker’s Lecture Series which will begin at 10am.
Foreign affairs experts and senior journalists will attend.
