The 53rd annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank, scheduled to be held in Incheon Metropolitan City, Republic of Korea from May 2-5, has been rescheduled.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, the ADB Board of Directors has approved that its 2020 annual meeting will be held in two parts.
A meeting will be held on May 22 at ADB Headquarters in Manila which will only be for Governors through their designated representatives based in Manila.
A full-scale annual meeting will be held from September 18 to 21 in Incheon, Republic of Korea which will be open to participants, said an official on Friday.
ADB and the government of the Republic of Korea prioritised the safety of participants.
The ADB will continue to monitor developments on COVID-19 and provide updates on any changes on the above.
