Thirteen Coronavirus-related deaths and 912 new cases were reported during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
With the latest figure, the Covid-19 fatalities climbed to 8,489 and total infections to 552,087, the DGHS said in a handout.

Besides, it said, 1,229 people recovered from the virus infections during the period. So far, 505,349 patients (91.46 percent) have recovered.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
Meanwhile, the daily infection rate jumped to 5.13 percent from 4.98 percent on Monday. But the mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.54 percent for the past few weeks, the DGHS said.
Authorities have so far tested 4,180,938 samples, including 17,973 in the past 24 hours.
Vaccination drive in Bangladesh
Bangladesh launched its nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive on February 7.
By Monday, 39,06,500 people received the first dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. The second dose has to be taken between 8 and 12 weeks of the first one.
So far, 51,36,474 people have completed their registration to receive the Covid-19 vaccine till 5 pm on Monday.
The government is providing the vaccine for free. It signed an agreement with India's Serum Institute for acquiring 30 million doses of the vaccine.
The institute will provide five million doses every month between January and June.
People who are 40 or above can register for getting the jab at www.surokkha.gov.bd as the on-spot registration system has been revoked.

Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said that the age limit for getting the vaccine will be revised once more doses are available in the country.
Global situation
The global Covid caseload surged past 117 million Tuesday amid worldwide mass inoculation efforts.
The total case count and deaths now stand at 117,148,248 and 2,600,063, respectively, according to John Hopkins University.
The US continues to remain the world’s worst-hit country, with 29,044,110 cases and 525,752 fatalities to date, as per the university data.
Brazil reported an accumulative 11,051,665 Covid cases as of Tuesday amid a second wave of the outbreak of the disease, the Brazilian Ministry of Health said.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,114 people have died in the past 24 hours -- a record for Tuesday -- taking the national death toll to 266,398, the ministry said.
India has so far registered 11,244,786 cases and 157,930 fatalities, as per the country's official figures.
