The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in a handout said 873 people have recovered from the virus infection during the period.
With the updated figures, the Covid-19 fatalities climbed to 8,416, while total infections to 546,801 in the country.

The daily infection rate now rose to 4.31 percent which was 3 percent on Sunday.
The overall infection rate slightly fell to 13.48 percent, which was 13.55 percent on Sunday.
The mortality rate remained steady at 1.54% for the past few days, the DGHS handout said.
So far, 497,797 patients (91.04%) have recovered from the Covid-19.
Authorities have so far tested 40,57,597 samples, including 13,570 in the past 24 hours.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
Vaccination drive in Bangladesh
Bangladesh launched a countrywide coronavirus vaccination drive on February 7.
By Sunday, 3,110,525 people had received the first dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. The second dose has to be taken between 8 and 12 weeks of the first one.
The government is providing the vaccine for free. It signed an agreement with India's Serum Institute for 30 million doses of the vaccine.

The institute will provide five million doses every month between January and June.
People, who are 40 or above, can register for the vaccine at www.surokkha.gov.bd. The on-spot registration system has been scrapped.
Global Covid-19 Situation
The confirmed cases of coronavirus exceeded 114 million across the world as of Monday.
The total case count reached 114,051, 765 and the death toll from the virus stood at 2,530,563, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University (JHU).
The US, which remained the worst-hit country of the world, has registered 28,605,527 cases and deaths 513,091 till Monday morning.
Brazil reported 34,027 new Covid-19 cases and 721 related deaths on Sunday, taking the national tally of confirmed cases to 10,551,259 and death toll to 254,942, the Ministry of Health said.
Brazil is ranked second worldwide after the United States in terms of the number of deaths from Covid-19 and third in terms of the number of confirmed cases, after the United States and India.
India’s total caseload reached 11,096,731 as of Monday morning while the country’s death toll reached 157,051.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, Covaxin, on Monday.

The Covaxin vaccine is manufactured by "Bharat Biotech" company.
Nearly 15 million people have been covered so far in the Covid-19 nationwide vaccination drive, which began on January 16.
