Three people were infected by coronavirus and seven others suffering from cold and fever died in last 24 hours on Tuesday in Cumilla.
The three patients are – Joynal Abedin, Billal Hossain and Alkasur Rahman.
Besides, seven others who were suffering from cold and fever are – Belayet Hossain, Jahanara Begum, Archana, Gias Uddin, Kamal Hossain, Abul Basar and Ishak Majumdar.
Assistant Director Dr Sajeda Khatun of Cumilla Medical College Hospital confirmed the matter.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh on Tuesday saw the highest-ever jump in coronavirus cases and deaths in a single day as the health authorities confirmed the detection of 3,862 new patients and record 53 deaths in the span of 24 hours.
With this, the death toll rose to 1,262 and the number of confirmed cases in the country reached 94,481.
