The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,520 cases against violators of traffic laws during a drive conducted in various parts of the capital.
Additionally, 15 vehicles were dumped and 19 vehicles were towed away during the drive.
DMP files 1,799 cases for traffic rule violations
The drive was carried out on Saturday by the DMP's Traffic Division, said DC (media) of DMP Talebur Rahman.
The DMP has announced that such operations will continue to ensure traffic discipline across Dhaka metropolitan areas.
