The Dhaka Metropolitan Police have stated that efforts to enforce traffic rules and hold violators accountable will continue to ensure discipline on the roads.
The traffic division of the DMP filed 1,386 cases and collected Tk 55.43 lakh in fines during operations against traffic rule violators on Sunday.

Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), shared the information in a media release on Monday.
Additionally, 97 vehicles were impounded, and 25 others were towed during the drives conducted in different parts of the capital.
